(1) Keep a diary in the format prescribed by the Government of Nepal and record in it the names of all the persons arrested on charges and complaints, the names of the complainants, the crimes charged against the arrested persons, the weapons or property recovered from them or in any other way and the names of the witnesses. Every employee with authority will have a duty.
(2) The Chief District Officer can inspect the said diary.
